I’m delighted to have Katie & Ed’s wedding featured in You & Your Wedding this month.
show 2 comments Earlier this Summer Josie Hendrick from Savoir Weddings curated the following Antoinette Meets Austin bridal story. The vision was to feature very little in terms of typical wedding detail and to focus more on evoking a mood and creating inspiration through fashion oriented imagery. Special thanks to Sally Lacock for the loan of her beautiful new collection, Alison at Pollen Nation and to make up / hair artist Elbie van Eeden.

show 26 comments Ellie and Justin heard about me through a chance meeting in Goa of one of their bridesmaids with a lady I know who runs a charity over there. If this was down to some kind of cosmic karma I’m not sure what I’ve done to deserve them as they are a very special couple indeed. Together we explored the woodland below St Martha’s Hill, Guildford which was where Justin took Ellie walking on one of their first dates. We walked right to the top where the tiny but ever so beautiful church, St Martha-on-the-Hill, stands just as the sun was going down. It was really quite magical. It’s not often that a couple insists on a champagne celebration after we wrap the shoot but, that just goes to show how fun and kind they both are… and of course, I was most happy to oblige! I’m thrilled to be shooting their wedding this Saturday at the beautiful venue of Shilstone in Devon.
show 13 comments Elaine and Jonathan’s wedding this June at Eltham Palace was full of good old fashioned British eccentricity. The 95th Rifles entertained guests with a surprisingly loud gun salute under the timber bridge and impromptu history lessons to guests on the South lawn. As regulars at The Blitz Party Elaine and Jonathan share a passion for Lindy Hop which they demonstrated beautifully as their band (the hugely talented 78 RPM) played roaring 30′s – 40′s classics into the wee hours. I think The Courtaulds would have been most proud!
